The renting process
Once you have completed the online registration form, called or visited our office, we will begin a specific search for suitable property for you.
- We will search our database and arrange viewings for the appropriate houses or flats.
- Once we have found a suitable property we will ask you to provide us with referees (bank, employer, solicitor and accountant).
- Subject to satisfactory references and with the landlord's agreement, we will provide you with a draft tenancy agreement for your perusal.
- On the day the tenancy commences we will arrange for you to be met by the inventory clerk, who will produce a report of the condition of the property.
- Prior to the commencement of the tenancy you will need to have provided us with your signed tenancy agreement, your advanced rent (your first month or quarter's rent), your deposit (normally 6 weeks rent) and the fee for the tenancy agreement (£200 + VAT). Provided all the above is completed satisfactorily you will then be given the keys and can move in.
