Figures for November 2011

Asking prices and sale prices in Kensington & Chelsea have continued to rise with sellers optimism (a rise of 5% for asking prices) rewarded with a leap in sale prices recorded by The Land Registry of 14% over the last year.

However, volumes are down with the supply of available property coming to the market down by 7% on last year and the number selling in London down by 12%.  Even the very top of the market has seen a retrenchment with the number of sales over £2m back to their historic averages having fallen 12% over the past year.
