Not just a book launch.... 

 

A very jolly launch party was held at the end of May for the new Leasehold Enfranchisement book co-written by James Wilson.  Some 100+ guests including old clients, family and friends came along to hear James and his co-author and lawyer, Ellodie Gibbons convert what had seemed to some might be a rather dry and academic tomb into a highly relevant and much admired text. According to official statistics, there are nearly one million houses that are owned leasehold (rather than freehold).  These are found not just in London but also in Wales (from where the pressure for the original legislation sprang). The few remaining copies of the original print run are available from James or from www.RiCSbooks.com.
