Technology to make finding a house to rent or a property to buy even easier whether you are looking in SW3 or Sheffield but is more information necessarily a good thing?

Email, web sites and e-brochures. Virtual tours, You Tube and Google Earth. Street View and community sites - all offer potential tenants or purchasers extraordinarily rich information - data often missed by many estate agents who still hope that a scruffy photocopied sheet with one small photo is enough to sell a £2m house (and justify an £80k fee!). Technology is changing the way we look for houses and this means that we need to change the way we sell them.

Being an estate agent today means understanding the new digital market place, knowing what people can expect and therefore how to make your product stand out from the rest. Selling or letting a property is not about sticking it on the internet and sitting back and waiting for the enquires to come in.
