Property Refurbishment
We have considerable experience in the refurbishment of residential property. We work closely with our Sales and Lettings Departments' clients, in refurbishing property to achieve maximum value for the market. We also work for private clients in modernising their existing or newly acquired property.

- Advice to clients on the requirements of their property, the scope for alterations and extensions, and the issues involved
- Advice on budget, timescales and procurement options
- Preparation of full design and construction drawings
- Obtaining statutory consents, including planning permission, Listed Building alteration consent and building regulation approval etc
- Liaison with specialist sub-contractors and consultants
- Liaison with specialist companies for audio/visual distribution, lighting, interior design and furnishing

Party Wall Matters
If you or your neighbour are planning to undertake works to, or affecting, a shared wall, or excavating nearby, it is likely this will be regulated by the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, on which we can provide detailed advice.
Our services include:
- Advice to clients on the implications and obligations of the Act, ensuring their interests are safeguarded
- Acting as Building Owne's or Adjoining Owne's Surveyor, serving and/or receiving notices
- Negotiating and administering Awards under the Act
- Acting as 'Third Surveyor' under the Act, in the event of a dispute

Building Defect Diagnosis
Central London residential property comprises a huge variety of types of building, ranging from modern to historic, all of which can suffer from a plethora of building defects, including damp, timber decay, weathering defects, movement, structural problems and many more.
